Bishop Hying will give an historical tour and answer your questions about the stained glass windows, paintings, and statues. The Catholic cathedral church in Madison, WI is now St. Bernard Parish, located on Atwood Avenue. It was officially approved as the Diocese of Madison's new cathedral by Pope Francis in January. St. Bernard was previously a parish church founded in 1907 and completed in 1927. The cathedral status was granted in 2023, and renovations are currently underway to prepare the church for its new role. Come prepared for an educational tour, fellowship, food, and beverages.
