- Bio : Maria Reis Rocha (Lisboa, 1988) é artista visual e ilustradora. Ainda muito jovem mudou-se para Bruxelas, onde mais tarde estudou Belas-Artes, continuando depois os seus estudos em Milão, Lisboa e Londres, cidade onde viveu e trabalhou durante oito anos antes de regressar a Lisboa em 2018.
Com dois mestrados nas áreas do vídeo e da animação, o seu trabalho desenvolve-se entre a pintura, ilustração e imagem em movimento, incluindo livros, padrões e pintura para têxteis, colaborações e projectos culturais. Participou em várias exposições individuais e colectivas, mantendo uma prática artística ligada tanto à criação poética como a temas sociais e humanitários..

BIO:
Maria Reis Rocha holds degrees in Fine Arts, Multimedia, and Animation. She lived in Brussels, studied Fine Arts in Lisbon, Multimedia at Accademia di Brera in Milan, and completed a Master’s in Moving Image in London, where she worked for several years before returning to Lisbon in 2018. For over a decade, she has developed projects ranging from book illustration and textile patterns to collaborations with musicians and personal commissions. Co-founder of the project Uma Causa por Dia, Maria works across painting, drawing, and animation, creating worlds that awaken both awareness and imagination.
