Recently shown in this new format in the exhibition Amor I Love You at P28, Lisbon. *** BIO: Mariana Viegas (Lisboa, 1969) vive e trabalha na Arrábida. Formada em Artes Plásticas e Fotografia pelo Ar.Co, inicia o seu percurso nos anos 90. Trabalha como fotógrafa de cena com realizadores como Pedro Costa, Manoel de Oliveira e João César Monteiro. Bolseira da Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian (Nova Iorque, 2006/07), com projetos apoiados pela DGArtes e residências artísticas em Berlim, Praga e Copenhaga. Obra representada em coleções públicas e privadas em Portugal, Brasil e Estados Unidos. *** Mariana Viegas (Lisbon, 1969) lives and works in Arrábida. Trained in Fine Arts and Photography at Ar.Co, she began her career in the 1990s. She has worked as a set photographer with directors including Pedro Costa, Manoel de Oliveira and João César Monteiro. A Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation grantee (New York, 2006/07), her work has been supported by DGArtes and she has undertaken residencies in Berlin, Prague and Copenhagen. Her work is held in public and private collections in Portugal, Brazil and the United States.
