This stunning stone barn still stands, located in the town of Chase, a small town of 3,300, about 20 miles north of Green Bay, where the average high in January is 26 degrees. Built by farmers, German immigrants who became prosperous, it's maintained proudly the city.  This painting can be seen at the Hocking County Historical Society, Logan, Ohio.
