Originally called the Cabaret Metro, this club consistently features outstanding music, and is a leading edge venue for new talented musicians. The Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Liz Fair, Faith No More, R.E.M., Sinéad O'Connor, and many others played the Metro early in their careers, long before they became superstar acts. The 1,100-person venue's atmosphere can seem intimate or raucous, cabert or stadium, depending on the show.
