I started making mobiles in the fall of 2002. Having just finished college with a Mechanical Engineering degree I had learned about different materials and how to address movement in things like engines and machines. I had just married my wife who had a Humanities degree. I have always been creative but having seen the work of Alexander Calder I was introduced to the art form of hanging kinetic mobiles. I started with some simple smaller mobiles and this love has grown into making many different sizes, different materials, and colors. Some of the largest mobiles I have made hang in corporate lobbies, recreation centers, churches, and other public locations. I love to see the joy and wonder from others as they see the beauty of hanging mobiles and how they transform any room.
