Description

Roy Thomas (1929-2004), a well-known Anishinaabe Woodland artist, was influenced by Norval Morrisseau and was recognized for his own distinctive style and use of line and colour. He would often sign his paintings with a small crow monogram, a reference to his grandmother, who gave him the name Gahgahgeh (Crow).
This silkscreen print is in good condition for its age (1978). It has a few puckers that could easily be ironed out, but the matting surrounding it suffered some water damage, thus the drastically reduced price. It needs to be re-framed with another mat or set into a new frame.
Approx. overall size 17" x 20"
