Semolina size: 14" poplar materials: cyanotype of noodles & wheat grasses on Kitakata paper, wheat paste, and wood Statement: AIO Food Pantry does great things for this community, and I'm grateful for the chance to support their work. With my current medium, cyanotypes, experimenting with food was a fun challenge. I've learned a lot along the way, and my workspace is still covered with expired noodles and wheatgrass.I look forward to continuing my artistic journey with pasta, and I hope my platter has a positive impact. BIO: Based in Midcoast Maine, Nina Poole is an artist working across photography, cyanotype, and mixed media. Her cyanotype work moves in two directions, both embracing unpredictability: one rooted in the landscape, the other in open experimentation.
