Enjoy a one-hour docent-led guided walking tour for up to 12 guests at Greenwood Gardens, a 28-
acre historic public garden just 45 minutes outside of Manhattan in Short Hills, NJ The tour
highlights the history, landscape, horticulture, and architecture of this 1920s Arts and Crafts-style
garden, graced by terraced gardens, stately fountains, winding moss-covered paths, romantic
grottoes, iconic follies, whimsical ornaments, majestic allées of London plane and spruce trees, and
interactive wildlife at the barnyard. In 2022, Greenwood was voted “New Jersey’s Prettiest Garden”
by New Jersey Family magazine. You and your group are welcome to bring a picnic lunch and eat on-
site in Adelaide’s, our covered outdoor Pavilion, or to dine at one of the area’s local eateries. A
memorable and revitalizing experience you won’t want to miss!
