Description
Long and narrow poster that will fit nicely anywhere in your home or office. This one is a colorful design with a timely sentiment. Poster is approximately 5” x 23”
This poster is signed within the silkscreened print.
Former PMP parent, Earl Newman has been designing and screen-printing posters for seven decades. While he started making posters for the beatnik coffee houses and early surfing competitions in Southern California, he is most often recognized for the posters he’s made for the Monterey Jazz Festival. Through the medium of silkscreen, also known as serigraphy, Earl has been able to reproduce his designs in volume, usually 100 at a time. To Earl, it’s like having 100 canvasses on which to experiment, using different colors of papers and inks, varying the color blends as he goes along. In this way, no two prints are the same. Each silk screen print is made step by step, each color a separate printing.
Poster is unframed
