Carex appalachica - Appalachian Sedge is a fine-textured, clump-forming weeping native that flourishes on well-drained slopes and is particularly effective when planted with other woodland plants. An ideal option for dry or otherwise difficult sites and creates a lovely “weeping” appearance that readily undulates with the slightest breeze while growing in dense tufts with a mound height of about 6 inches. In early spring, tiny flowering stalks shoot beyond the foliage with little starbursts of light green blooms and forms attractive colonies. Flat - 10 1qt plants
