Description
There are nine small plants in this pot.
The orange day-lily (Hemerocallis fulva), also known as the tawny or ditch lily, is a tough, low-maintenance herbaceous perennial native to Asia that produces vibrant, trumpet-shaped blooms lasting for a single day.
Key Characteristics
• Appearance: Features bright orange, copper, or tawny-red flowers (3–5 inches long) atop tall stems with arching, grass-like strap-shaped leaves.
• Size: Grows to approximately 2.5 feet in height and width.
• Bloom Time: Flowers typically emerge in the summer (from early June through late July or August).
• Not a True Lily: It belongs to the genus Hemerocallis (from the Greek words for "day" and "beauty") rather than the true lily genus Lilium, and it grows from thickened roots and rhizomes rather than true bulbs
