Description

Ralph Engelstad attended the University of North Dakota from 1948-54, playing two seasons as a goaltender for the UND hockey team before earning his degree in commerce. Following graduation, Engelstad founded a construction company in Grand Forks that grew into a highly successful business empire spanning real estate, hospitality, and gaming. In the 1960s, Engelstad expanded his business interests to Las Vegas, where he developed the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino, one of the largest privately owned hotels in the world. His success made him one of the most accomplished entrepreneurs in UND history. Known for his determination, integrity, and iconic saying, “The harder I work, the luckier I get,” Engelstad remained a proud supporter of his alma mater throughout his life. His legacy lives through Ralph Engelstad Arena, a world-class facility that reflects his lifelong commitment to UND and the hockey program. This Ralph Engelstad Reebok Premier Replica hockey jersey is constructed from 100% polyester two-way stretch pique fabric with mesh inserts under the arms and across the back for enhanced ventilation. The jersey features the iconic Sioux logo with embroidered and twill applique detailing, along with cut-and-sew twill name and numbers that replicate the on-ice design. It also includes a WCHA conference patch on the lower back hem. This jersey is a size medium.
