I have always been surrounded by gardens and the great outdoors and developed a deep appreciation for the beauty and serenity found in flowers, trees, rocks and birds. The ravens always congregate on the railroad tracks in the bog. They may not be the most revered of the birds but they are fascinating to watch. I work in a wide range of media including watercolors, acrylic, gouache, pen and ink and pastels but my favorite has been watercolor. The wonderful properties of watercolor pigments allow me to be loose and expressive or create stunning detail.
