Description
Mixed Media, hand embellished photograph with color pencils, 18 x 24 in. I view each day as an opportunity to create. The beauty of the garden and nature are a source of endless inspiration to me. Looking closely at petals and leaves, at their structure, line, and texture, my interest blossomed, and nature is my favorite subject matter. In general, my work is diverse, ranging from abstraction to realism, watercolor to photography, to mixed media and collage. My work has been exhibited and sold in shows locally and nationally. I am a member of the National Watercolor Society, Collage Artists of America, the LA Art Association, and I am on the Board of Directors of Women Painters West, The Artists Gallery (TAG) and San Fernando Valley Arts and Cultural Center (SFVACC). I have also been featured in several publications including Artist Portfolio Magazine, ARTmine and online publications, Coffee with Artists, Conception Arts, CanvasRebel and most recently Bold Journey
