Description

Oil painting is by local artist, Dodie D’Oench “Rooster’s Path” Lavender Farm. 
Ms. D’Oench always had a passion for art, beginning at an early age visiting museums with her family.
In 2008, she was encouraged to participate in a loosely knit group of plein air artists called the French Connection. This rekindled her desire to paint, and led her to pursue fine art classes, and in 2016, receive a BFA at Lyme Art Academy of Fine Arts, College of the University of New Haven.
