Our friends at Saltwell have again offered a dining experience for you. Come hungry! The Saltwell Experience is a three-to -four hour, farm-to-table tasting menu featuring six courses inspired by the seasons, local ingredients, neighboring farmers, and foraged foods —nestled in a shady walnut tree grove, surrounded by chickens, guineas, cats, and more, with the sound of goats and cows nearby—uniquely Saltwell.

The Arc of Douglas County has been committed to advocacy, education, and creating a community of acceptance for over 75 years in Lawrence, Kansas. Our organization was founded in 1954 by parents of children with disabilities who were seeking education and support for their loved ones. We continue to be led by those we serve with commitment to the belief that every person deserves dignity and the right to a good life. We support individuals with Intellectual Disabilities & their families in Douglas, Shawnee, Franklin, and Jefferson Counties. Every day we strive to make a real difference in the lives of those we serve. We provide advocacy, resources, and case management for our fellow Kansans with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Our mission is rooted in meeting people where they are and helping them move towards their individualized goals while assuring all the necessary steps get completed to remain eligible for I/DD services in KS. Each auction will have a 7% support and processing fee to offset our cost for using the electronic auction and payment options.
