Scúru Fitchádu é um projeto musical de Marcus Veiga, que cruza músicas cabo-verdianas e africanas com uma estética punk eletrónica disruptiva. Nascido em 2016, o projeto é conhecido pela experimentação sonora e pela mistura de diferentes universos musicais, com lançamentos como o álbum "Un Kuza Runhu" (2020), considerado um dos melhores do ano, e "Nez txada skúru dentu skina na braku fundu" (2023). O nome, que significa "escuro cerrado" ou "escuro denso", inspira-se em ditados cabo-verdianos e na inclinação de Marcus Veiga para músicas mais sombrias e pesadas.

Scúru Fitchádu is the musical project of Marcus Veiga, blending Cape Verdean and African music with a disruptive electronic punk aesthetic. Founded in 2016, the project is known for its sonic experimentation and fusion of diverse musical universes, with releases including the album *Un Kuza Runhu* (2020), acclaimed as one of the year’s best, and *Nez txada skúru dentu skina na braku fundu* (2023). The name, meaning “dense dark” or “closed dark,” draws inspiration from Cape Verdean sayings and Marcus Veiga’s inclination toward darker, heavier music.
