This year, our preschool students had the extraordinary opportunity to explore creativity and self-expression alongside our Artist in Residence, Elodie Blanchard, a Brooklyn-based French textile artist. Through hands-on experimentation with color, texture, fabric, and material design, the children discovered the joy of making art through curiosity, play, and imagination. Each piece in this special auction began with the students’ own artistic explorations. Their creations were then thoughtfully and beautifully recomposed by Elodie into one-of-a-kind textile works that honor the spirit, individuality, and creativity of every child involved. This collection is more than an auction; it is a celebration of collaboration, childhood creativity, and community. All proceeds from the sale will directly support our school’s financial aid program, helping ensure that more families can continue to access our nurturing learning environment.
