SES WISH LIST ITEM: Helicopter Kit (24-pieces) (1 of 2 Requested)

This is a WISH LIST item that was added by staff in hopes that it will be purchased for the school. All wish list items will be instrumental in the classroom or during therapeutic sessions. Thank you for your consideration. Mr. Stoddard's Science Class has added two sets of Helicopter Kits to this SES Wish List. This is for one set which comes with 24-pieces. This STEM propeller kit provides students with a hands-on opportunity to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through building, testing, and problem-solving. By constructing rubber-band-powered airplanes, helicopters, cars, and other moving projects, students can see scientific concepts come to life rather than learning them only through textbooks or demonstrations. The activity encourages students to investigate concepts such as force, motion, energy, propulsion, and energy transfer. Students can experiment with different designs, adjust the amount of stored energy in the rubber bands, and observe how these changes affect the movement and performance of their projects. This creates opportunities for students to make predictions, collect observations, compare results, and draw conclusions from their experiments.
