Shells and Pearls (2 shadow box set)

6w x 8H each piece (2 shadow box set) I Love to create repurposed art pieces! The shells were collected at Myrtle Beach, SC State Park while vacationing there in 2025. By using metallic watercolor, the shells and background seem to sparkle like looking at sea life in the water near the shore. The genuine seed pearls came from a necklace bought in China in 2006 that I no longer wear. I felt that the pearls were the perfect accent for the shimmering seashells. The painted shadow boxes were donated by my good friend and artist, Barbara Johnson, for this project.
