Turtle Ridge leather bag designs are made in our studio in Ellison Bay, WI by just a few skilled craftswomen. We design the handbags on geometric shapes that still retain function. The surface decorations is an important part of each piece; whether it is a hand-painted carved or tooled image, a stitched pattern, an applique or trapunto design. These techniques are an integral part of the
proportion and function of the bag. 
The Gallery is home to Mary Ellen Sisulak’s art. Leather mixed media paintings that incorporate stones, encaustic paintings and etching prints. The gallery is surrounded by gardens and the Mink River Nature Conservancy, an endless inspiration to Mary Ellen and visitors alike.
The Boutique is a curated selection of natural fiber clothing, artisan jewelry and carefully picked gift items.
