Description
This handsome speckled pottery bowl brings a warm, earthy presence to any table or countertop. At 13" in diameter and 5" tall, it's generously sized for serving, centerpieces, or simply holding fruit and letting its texture do the talking. The speckled glaze gives it that unmistakable handmade character — no two firings ever come out quite the same, which is part of the charm.
The piece carries a maker's mark on the base, though the artist's identity has been lost to time — giving it a bit of mystery along with its rustic appeal. Its well-loved, slightly weathered finish only adds to the story: this is a bowl that's clearly been part of a home, not sitting untouched on a shelf. Character like this can't be manufactured.
Details:
• Speckled stoneware, handcrafted
• 13" diameter × 5" tall
• Maker's mark present; artist unknown
