Description
He created Spider-Man, the Hulk, the Fantastic Four, Iron Man, the Silver Surfer, Thor, the X-Men, and many other fictional characters, introducing a thoroughly shared universe into superhero comic books. Lee subsequently led the expansion of Marvel Comics from a small division of a publishing house to a large multimedia corporation. He was inducted into the comic book industry's Will Eisner Award Hall of Fame in 1994 and the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame in 1995. Lee received a National Medal of Arts in 2008. The Forest Knolls Spring Auction is our largest fundraising event of the year! The funds we raise are crucial for holding enriching, free community events, such as Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service and 'This Is How We Do It' night. The funds also provide grants to teachers and partners for school projects not covered by the annual budget, including books for the Rock N' Read Tutoring Program and equipment for the FKES Bike Bus. The auction will take place online from April 23 to May 2, culminating in a celebratory evening during the FKES Parent Social, where we’ll gather as a community to honor our winners and generous supporters.
