Description
Trachystemon orientalis 'Sundew ' – Large broad and bold bright yellow tongues growing up to 12” long will gradually expand into a solid choppy sea of textured sunshine! 'Sundew' will grow densely enough as to be an effective weed smothering ground cover and a luminous one at that. Stems up to 18” tall support constellations of blue and white flowers which are like shooting stars in spring. Easily grown in moist, humusy, well-drained soils in part shade to full shade. Tolerates drought including moderate amounts of dry shade in cool summer conditions. Also tolerates full sun, but usually performs best in sun-dappled part shade.
3 inch container
