Description
Styrax obassia, commonly called fragrant snowbell, is a small, slender, upright tree. Typically grows 20-30' tall. Bell-shaped, fragrant, white flowers with showy yellow stamens appear in May-June (somewhat late for trees). Despite flowering after leaves have emerged, the sheer volume of flowers creates a stunning display. Great autumn color and exfoliating bark give this tree year-round appeal.
2 gallon container, 18-24 inches tall
