Sweet Amalia Oyster Farm Tour for Four With Dame Lisa Calvo

Join Dame Lisa Calvo, founder of Sweet Amalia Oyster Farm, for an unforgettable tour of her oyster farm on the Cape May peninsula. Your group of four will join a scheduled public tour that includes a shucking lesson and tasting of some of the freshest and most delicious oysters you've ever had! Your tour will begin on the banks of the southern Delaware Estuary on the Cape May Peninsula in an area known locally as the Cape Shore Flats. We’ll walk offshore during low tide to tour the farm where our oysters are grown using rack and bag methods. Soak up the beauty of the Bayshore, while learning about bay ecology and our sustainable farming methods. And of course, you’ll get to taste some of the freshest and most delicious oysters you’ve ever had! Guests should be prepared to walk about 700 ft from the beach to the farm across sand bars and areas that may have uneven terrain and knee-deep water. The tours are approximately 90 minutes. Recipient will participate in a scheduled public tour, date to be coordinated with the Sweet Amalia team.
