Description
Law students often privately pursue scholastic achievement in the domain of the Twenty-First Amendment, but this rich vein of legal study is not formally addressed in Temple Law's curriculum. This one-evening course is designed to introduce up to six law students to the complexities of regulation of self during the creation and consumption of flavored beverages containing high-proof alcohol (colloquially known as liqueurs). Previous syllabi have included varieties of limoncello, apple brandy, cranberry liqueur, banana whiskey, and vin d'orange. Students will leave with a recipe booklet, a couple of samples in earlier stages of steeping to be finished and enjoyed at a later date, and an elevated BAC. Prerequisites: a valid id showing an age of at least 21 years and safe transportation home. Recommended: a strong constitution.
