The Basement Escape Room

This isn’t your average puzzle room. This is survival. Located in the heart of downtown Kansas City, THE BASEMENT: A Live Escape Room Experience delivers one of the most immersive and intense escape room adventures in the country. This isn’t just a game — it’s a cinematic, story-driven experience where you and your group become part of a terrifying, unfolding narrative. At our Kansas City location, you’ll step inside the world of Edward Tandy, a notorious serial killer who has turned his home into a twisted playground of puzzles, hidden passageways, and psychological challenges. Unlike traditional escape rooms, our experiences feature live actors, realistic sets, and physical environments that evolve as you progress, making every moment feel unpredictable and real. Work together to solve intricate puzzles, uncover secret areas, and navigate the house before time runs out. Whether you're planning a night out with friends, a team-building event, or a special celebration, THE BASEMENT offers an unforgettable experience that pushes the boundaries of what an escape room can be. Winner will recieve vouchers for (4) players to play any of the rooms during any time, excluding Dead and Breakfasts.
