This truly one-of-a-kind masterpiece was created by one of our very own adoptable cats, Thumbelina!
Thumbelina is a polydactyl cat, meaning she was born with extra toes on her paws — a natural genetic trait that gives her adorable “mittens” and makes her paws look extra wide and unique. In her case, those special toes also helped her become our newest feline artist!
Her painting, titled “Thumbelina’s Fancy Toes,” measures 20” x 16” and features a vibrant background of purple with bold accents of orange, pink, metallic blue, and gold. The result is a bright, expressive piece full of color and personality — just like Thumbelina herself.
What makes this item even more special is that Thumbelina is still available for adoption! If the winning bidder chooses local pickup, they will even have the opportunity to meet the artist behind the artwork in person.

📦 Shipping & Pickup Information Most auction items are available for shipping, so even if you are not local, you can still join the fun! For shipped items: Winning bidders will receive a separate invoice for shipping costs after the item has been mailed. Please keep in mind that larger items may cost more to ship. Items selected for shipping will be mailed the week of May 18th, and shipping invoices will be emailed after shipment. For local pickup: Auction pickup will be scheduled for May 14th and May 15th at our rescue located at 380 List Street, Frankenmuth, MI 48734.
