Description
There are two pillow, with a different part of the Canoe Benediction embroidered on the front of the 20" by 20" inch pillow sham. The pillow sham fits a 20 x 20 inch down feather pillow insert and have about a one inch border edge. The blue background and plaid wool cutouts of the Canoe Island shape and Bell Tent are Pendleton Wool from the Pendleton Woolen Mills headquartered in Portland, Oregon. Pendleton Woolen Mills is one of the few woolen mills in operation in the US and its woolen fabrics and blankets are still woven in their Pacific Northwest mills. The pillows were created and sewn by Jessica Galuska, who also helped finish the cyanotype quilt last year. These plump pillows are a cozy reminder of Canoe Island and a great way to recall fond memories of camp.
