In 1963, the University of California system commissioned Ansel Adams to create a photographic book for their centennial. Adams used the opportunity to turn his camera on the beauty of the whole state: from the beaches, to the farms, to UC campuses. The resulting book is Fiat Lux (Let There Be Light), the motto of the University of California system. Unseen presents the works from this project in an impressive large format volume. Used.
