-I’m a Homer kid through and through. Born and raised on the Spit, and going into my senior year! I've been making art since before I can remember. Drawing on napkins, my mother’s walls, and eventually on leather at AK Leather Co., where I cut, stamp, and sell in the shop with Ivan Heimbuch. I love getting to work with my hands and talk to people from all over the world, right there by the ocean. When I’m not at the shop, I spend my free time longboarding and getting outside however I can. There's nothing like the middle of Alaskan summer, when my friends and I can go out and skate with some Carmen's Gelato. I tried putting little pieces of this town into my design on the board. Most of all, I wanted to paint something that gives back even a little of what this place has given me.
