Vacation among the Redwoods (and vineyards) in California's Santa Cruz Mountains

I'm not saying that up to 5 days surrounded by Redwood Trees will improve your writing, but writers like John Muir, John Steinbeck, Richard Powers, and Walt Whitman gave the vibe a big thumbs up.   

Nestled deep in the Santa Cruz Mountains is Boulder Creek, a quaint town that is eccentric and whimsical!  Time moves slow here as you explore the redwood forest that became the first California State Park, sip on locally grown varietals overlooking a stunning vineyard, pop into a museum to learn about the local history, and enjoy some delicious meals along the way. 

The charming cabin is surrounded by soaring redwoods. With many nooks to read or nap, you could take a moment to stop doing anything, and just breath in the silence, take a walk up the dirt road to the top of the hill, or enjoy a meal with family. Santa Cruz, and three state parks are within 1/2 hour. End of the road privacy on over an acre.  There are two bedrooms, a bonus room with a twin, and a sunny space at the end of the dining room with a reading sofa, that pulls out to a queen (5 guest limit). Decks surround the single level living space, offering outdoor dining or lounging. There is a magical circle of redwoods, and a dirt road for hiking up the hill.
