Description
Three days, four nights in southwest Michigan. McCoy Creek flows right through the center of a historic downtown before meeting the St. Joseph River. You can visit the grist mill right at the creek in downtown Buchanan, which was voted 2020's "Nicest City in America." Boutique shops, breweries, coffee shops, restaurants and other quaintness are featured in Buchanan, along with a nice hiking trail through the woods near the creek. Plenty of outdoor activities, including horse riding and hikes along the wetland prairie's labyrinth and perimeter trail. There are several nearby lakes, farms selling produce, and the Tabor Hill and Hickory Creek wineries. This a comfortable two-bedroom/one bathroom house on nearly seven acres of land. Ideal spot for a getaway weekend or a rustic writers retreat. Comfortably fits four people. This is good for a year--you'll have to find an agreeable date with the owner, but there are lots of available times.
