About Boryana Popova Boryana Popova is a Los Angeles-based concert violinist, session player, and violin teacher. Born in Bulgaria, Boryana arrived in Los Angeles in 2007 where she completed both her Masters and Doctorate degrees in violin performance at UCLA. She has performed as a soloist, chamber, and orchestra musician throughout Europe and The United States. Boryana is the concert master of Pacific Opera Project and violinist for Helix Collective.
