Inspired by the quiet beauty of Canada’s wilderness, this painting captures a solitary loon emerging from the soft mist of a still lake. I wanted to create a feeling of peace, mystery and refuge — a moment where the outside world seems to fall away.
It is my hope that this painting will help support Animal Defenders International and their important work protecting animals and giving them a safer future.
