Description
This coastal Pinot Noir comes from a vineyard just 7 miles from the ocean, planted in distinctive golden-red clay soils and composed entirely of Clone 115. The proximity to the sea lends a beautiful freshness and precision to the wine. On the nose, expect red pear skin alongside bright, high-toned fruits like raspberry and strawberry, with a subtle, sweet grapey note reminiscent of green table grapes (in character, not color). Layers of toasted cinnamon, Oro Blanco grapefruit peel, and pink peppercorn add aromatic depth. The palate is tense yet balanced, not overtly acidic, delivering pure red pear fruit, orange blossom, and a clean, focused finish.
