Joanna Howes is the director and teacher of a Montessori primary program. She has a bachelor’s degree in natural history and ecology, as well as a master’s degree in education. Joanna grew up in California’s Bay Area and now lives in Tahoe Vista, California, with her partner and children.
ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR:
Alex Bailey is a fine artist and scientific illustrator with a bachelor’s degree in geology and a master’s degree in environmental geochemistry. She grew up in California and spent much of her childhood visiting the Sierra Nevada.
