This beautiful handcrafted bowl carries a meaningful story of inspiration, perseverance, and remembrance. In 2022, Steve Carpenter’s grandson, Will, suggested he begin turning bowls as an alternative to furniture making — a simple idea that became something deeply significant. That same year, Will bravely battled cancer with a positive spirit, always focused on encouraging and caring for others. Each piece is created in loving memory of William Cole Carpenter (May 23, 2003 – January 31, 2023), whose legacy of strength and kindness continues through these handcrafted works. A memorial card accompanies every bowl in his honor. This particular bowl is a Cherry bowl, crafted from Downed Tree #510, and carefully handcrafted by Steven Carpenter. More than a functional piece, this bowl is a tribute — a reminder of faith, family, and a life that continues to inspire others.
