The Brunswick Downtown Association (BDA) is a community-member-based 501(c)(3) organization made possible by local businesses and residents driven by our nonprofit mission statement: to promote Downtown Brunswick, Maine as a vibrant and attractive place to live, work, play, and do business. The BDA strengthens our downtown by supporting 250+ local businesses; organizing 40+ community events; championing town beautification projects, and operating the Brunswick Visitor Center on Station Avenue. The BDA is proud to be one of ten Main Street Communities in the state of Maine nationally-accredited by Main Street America.
Magic on Maine: Benefit Auction is one of the BDA's most important annual fundraisers. All proceeds offset the cost of holiday lighting from downtown to Cook's Corner through the season, bringing a much-needed sense of warmth and cheer during winter in Maine, as well as year-long placemaking efforts that help make Brunswick such a welcoming place.
Two Ways to Bid:
1. Online Bidding Owl Auction | October 1 - October 21
Browse online, here on Bidding Owl, and bid on our wide variety of items, gift certificates, and experiences generously donated by local businesses and community members! Online bidding is open from Thursday, October 1st to Wednesday, October 21st--prior to our ticketed, in-person event--giving everyone the opportunity to participate and support the BDA from anywhere.
2. Live and Silent Auction Event | October 22 at Brunswick Golf Club
Our ticketed, in-person event on Thursday, October 22nd from 5:00 - 9:00 PM at Brunswick Golf Club will host our live and silent auctions featuring even more items and thoughtfully curated packages that are not available for bidding in the online auction. The BDA invites you to join us for a joyful night of drinks, food, live music, and a photobooth, in addition to the high-spirited live and silent auctions made possible by town, state, and New England businesses' generous donations.

Important Online Auction Information:
This online auction opens at 4:00 PM on Thursday, October 1st and closes at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, October 21st. Item winners from this online auction will be contacted the week of October 26th to coordinate item pick-up or shipment.
