Join us for a day of discovery, connection, and conservation at OWL’s annual Open House!
🌟 Highlight: Bid for the rare opportunity to release a rehabilitated bird of prey - an unforgettable experience that symbolizes hope and healing.
🏡 Take a guided tour of our main facility and learn how OWL rescues, rehabilitates, and releases Injured and orphaned wildlife across Kansas.
🎶 Enjoy donated live music, snacks, and a delicious lunch as you explore our facility and meet the incredible public education birds who help share OWL’s mission year-round.
🖼️ Our Silent Auction features a collection of unique and collectible items, fun experiences, and beautiful artwork, all generously donated by local businesses, artists, and volunteers.
Every visit and every bid supports OWL’s vital work. Come celebrate the power of community and the magic of wildlife.
đź’» Online Pre-Bidding runs from Friday, 7 AM Sept 18th through 5 PM Friday, Oct 2nd.
Unless purchased via the Buy It Now option, final bidding will take place in person at the Open House on Sunday, Oct 4.

Items will be available for pickup starting 10:00 AM on Oct 5, must be collected by Oct 12.
The OWL facility location is open from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM Monday-Friday; 9:00 AM -2 PM

🎟️ NEW for 2026: On‑Site Raffle!
This year’s Open House features a fun on‑site raffle with four great items donated by local partners. Tickets will be available at check‑in. You can also by here by clicking under "Fundraising Draw". Just provide your name purchased under at check-in to pick up your tickets.
Raffle Items Include: • Two Bird Feeders donated by Lowe’s Shawnee • “Dad Bucket” a five gallon bucket packed with useful treasures (bits, foldable saw, flashlight, and more) donated by Ace Hardware • Self‑Watering Planter donated Ace Hardware • Mystery Box - box not included, but the items inside total over $100 and are great for anyone to enjoy.
💵 To help OWL avoid credit‑card processing fees, please consider bringing cash for raffle tickets and on‑site purchases. Every dollar saved goes directly toward wildlife rescue and rehabilitation.
