​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​An outstanding marathon event will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 9am through 7pm at the Holtschneider Performance Center. DePaul Community Music Division will host its 30^th annual Performathon to benefit need-based scholarships, enrichment programs for all, and community partnerships with under resourced CPS schools. 

To celebrate 38 years of the Community Music Division, our goal is to raise $38,000 to assist in removing financial barriers for children who could not otherwise pursue quality music studies.​

Over 250 students of all ages from beginning to advanced levels will perform on many different instruments in various musical styles in solo and collaborative settings in three different venues throughout the day. We are proud of the achievement of our students and the dedication of our faculty and staff who work together to create a successful event.
