"For the past two years, I have taken a group of students on a field trip to Hill College STEM Day. In doing this, I have realized that a large portion of our students have not ventured out of Johnson County and do not know that college or trade school is very attainable. My idea is to create a college, military, and career friendly space in the cafeteria so that students are exposed to different colleges through pennants and flags from universities and the different branches of the military from across the United States. I will also print the different Career Cluster Pathway Posters so while students are waiting in line to get trays of food or exit the cafeteria, they can see all of the options available to them and start their dreams early. A lot of students from Caddo Grove would be first generation college students, my dream is to make them realize that is a reality. " Each ticket contributes $40 with a total of 27 tickets for purchase to contribute to this project. Every dollar is so appreciated and we allow partial funding of any of the grants.
