"School counselors play a vital role in ensuring student success, yet rapid changes in state and federal legislation often create challenges in day-to-day practice. New mandates can directly impact how counselors deliver services and advocate for students. Without ongoing professional development, school counselors risk falling behind in compliance requirements and missing opportunities to apply policy in ways that benefit students. This grant will provide professional development sessions and an opportunity to collaborate with other districts to help understand, interpret, and implement new legislation with confidence.
