All the items under this grand will support the school's NGC medical clinic and nurse. Some items will facilitate the nurse's ability to execute skills, for assessing student's true needs, quicker and more efficiently, and get students back into the classroom as soon as possible, if appropriate. Other items will educate or enhance students' knowledge of world exposure of things that directly affect their health. 1. Portable lightweight cart will assist with getting 15lb emergency bag and AED to evacuation drill and true emergency locations. ($46.99) 2. Small medical backpack will allow for immediate access to medical supply, during free gym and events held in gym (dodgeball tournament, etc.). ($25.99) 3. Wrist blood pressure cuff will make assessing staff and student's B/P faster and easier. ($42.62) 4. Step stool will making feet/leg examinations more back friendly for nurse as well as assisting student with elevating foot/leg to reduce swelling and assist with alleviating pain. ($11.99) 5. Educational posters on Illicit drugs, Eating healthy, Self care, etc. (a variety) to hang in hallway. Nurse clinic is right by outside door #2 where LOTS of students travel.
