Westonka Food Shelf Community Beat Hunger Bash (Event and Auction)
Join us for a 21+ casual and fun evening on March 1st 6:30-11pm!
Venue: Nerdery 7700 France Ave Unit 285, Edina MN 55435
Ticket cost: $50 per person which includes appetizers, live music, $1000 in poker chips to play casino games and more.
Amusements:
-Casino Table Games: Black Jack, Beat the Dealer, Pai Gow Poker, Texas Hold ‘em and Red Dog Poker. Turn in chips for chances to win amazing prizes.
-Ultimate Silent Auction (high value items like vacations, etc.)
-Mini Golf Challenge: Play with the possibility of winning rounds of golf at courses in the Twin Cities

Auction Details:
The auction will begin the morning of Sunday, February 23rd and run until 10:00pm on Saturday, March 1st! Items can be picked up at the event or after March 2nd at the Westonka Food Shelf. Tip: You can also set max bids or use the Buy It Now feature for items you don't want to miss out on.
About the Westonka Food Shelf:
The Westonka Food Shelf is a community sponsored non-profit organization that began providing support to the community in 1969. Since the start of the pandemic, the number of local families seeking assistance from Westonka Food Shelf has increased an astonishing 265% and the great need continues to rise. Inflationary pressures, resulting in increasing food, rent, fuel, medical, and utility costs, have stretched limited budgets beyond their capacity. Additionally, the guidelines of those eligible to seek assistance have been broadened to include more low-income families. Thanks to the great generosity of our community, WFS has been able to meet this enormous need.
We are a donation and volunteer-based organization. Because of our relationships with local food banks, we are able to extend donation dollars approximately NINE times further than possible through traditional retail outlets. Our ability to provide food assistance to those who need it would not be possible without the support of generous people like you and our generous donors of the items in this auction.
