ST. MICHAEL’S LABOR DAY PICNIC
The St. Michael’s Church Labor Day Picnic is scheduled for September 1, 2025! Join us for amazing food, fun games of chance for all ages, and more! Beautiful quilts made by members of the St. Michael Rosary Society will be raffled off on the grounds the day of the event. And don't forget to purchase your Labor Day Loot and Farm to Table raffle tickets, available for purchase online on this site and in-person in the weeks leading up to the Picnic! See below for more details on all your favorite Labor Day Picnic activities!

NEW THIS YEAR!!
We are now serving delicious Chicken cooked and prepared by
DB's Smokin' BBQ from Lucinda, PA!
Dinners include chicken BBQ, baked beans, mac & cheese, coleslaw, and desserts.
Dinner prices are $13.00 for adults and $6 for children. Pre-school age and under are FREE.
Dine in or take out! Dinner ticket sales begin at 10 a.m. with dinners served between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Indoor and outdoor seating will be available!
**The Refreshment Stand will also be open throughout the day featuring hot dogs, nachos, pop, and other picnic fare.**
In-Person Games, Raffles and More!
All booths and games open at 11 a.m. on the picnic grounds. Games of skill and chance for all ages will be featured including:
- 100 Item Chinese Auction,
- Meat Raffles,
- Quilt Stand,
- Baked Goods Stand,
- Candy Game,
- Multiple Stuffed Animal Games,
- and more with great prizes for all ages!
Quilt Stand
Quilts from the Rosary Society will be raffled off throughout the day of the Picnic with no prior online sales or outright purchases. Photos of all quilts will be posted on the St. Michael Labor Day Picnic Facebook page!
Raffle Tickets
Labor Day Loot Ticket – featuring CASH prizes! Requested donation for tickets is $5 each or 5 for $20. Prizes are as follows:
- 1st Prize - $3,000 cash
- 2nd Prize - $1,500 cash
- 3rd Prize - $1,000 cash
- 4th Prize - $750 cash
- 5th Prize - $500 cash
- 6th Prize - $250 cash

Farm to Table Ticket – this year’s ticket features over 50 prizes including various cuts of fresh meat from local farms and markets as well as other locally sourced products. This year features 2 grand prizes: Grand Prize #1 is winner's choice of a quarter of beef OR $500 cash; Grand Prize #2 is winner's choice of a live calf or $400 cash! Requested donation for tickets is $1 each.
All raffle tickets can be purchased online through Bidding Owl (a secure, non-profit charity auction service) at https://new.biddingowl.com/SMPLaborDayPicnic. Stubs will be entered into the drawing and the return portion of the ticket will be mailed to the buyer. Online ticket sales end on August 29th at 11:59 PM!
Tickets can also be purchased in-person at the Parish Office in Lucinda OR at various local businesses – check back later for exact locations!
Tickets will also be available for purchase in-person on Labor Day, September 1st, from 11 AM to 3 PM on the grounds!
You can request tickets via mail by emailing stmikelabordaypicnic@gmail.com or by calling our Parish Office at 814-226-7288. Be sure to indicate the quantity of tickets you desire as well as your name and mailing address. Requests for tickets must be received by August 25, to allow for return mail.
