The First Annual Lake Orion United Methodist Church Service Auction, takes place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 4:30PM to 8:00 PM at The Legacy Center in Oxford, located at 925 N Lapeer Rd, Oxford, MI 48371.
This exciting new event is more than a fundraiser—it's an opportunity to strengthen friendships, celebrate the unique talents within our congregation, and create memorable experiences together, as a church family.
Rather than auctioning items, we'll be auctioning experiences, events, talents, and services generously donated by members and friends of our church. Whether you're hosting, bidding, or both, you'll:
- Meet new people within our church family.
- Share your hobbies, talents, and passions.
- Create meaningful memories and lasting friendships.
- Support the ministries, programs, and facilities of Lake Orion United Methodist Church.
Every bid helps strengthen our church while creating experiences that bring our congregation together.

Where is it?
The Legacy Center – 925 N Lapeer Rd, Oxford, MI 48371 (the old Sea Ray plant across from the Oxford Meijer) - you can park anywhere around the building and access the event center by following the signs in the hallways. The event center is located in the northwest corner of the building.

- Tickets are $25.00 per person which includes a pizza & pasta buffet dinner, soft drinks, and of course a piece of Costco cake! You can purchase tickets in fellowship hall after worship services or in the church office.
- A cash bar will be available for purchase of beer, wine, and liquor.
- Each person will receive their own bidding paddle but sorry, you can't take them home!
- Payment for the bids you win is expected at the end of the night, but can be paid within 3 business days after the auction.
- You can pay by cash; a check made out to Lake Orion United Methodist Church; or by credit card/bank account draft through your online church Vanco account (with funds designated to the Auction).
- Receipts for purchased items will be emailed or mailed to you within 3 business days after the auction.
