How to View & Bid

  • Click the category on the left to view available artwork.

  • Each piece lists the artist’s Fair Market Value (FMV).

  • All bids and payments are made online via this website. You must create a Bidder Profile and log in before bidding.

  • The direct link to the CAL/QCA auction is: https://new.biddingowl.com/qcaauction2025. If you find yourself on the main Biddingowl page, please search either Charlotte Art League or Queen City Art

Bidding Rules

  • Opening bid: 30% of FMV (as indicated by the artist). Exception: Distilling is Art: GWD Bottle #1 Barrel #1 will open at its full FMV due to legal requirements.

  • Bid increments: $10

  • Buy Now: 10× the amount of the starting bid (instantly secures the piece; bidding closes for that item)

  • Close time: 8:00 PM (ET) on Saturday, November 15 — please place final bids before the deadline.

Pickup

  • Location: Charlotte Art League (dba Queen City Art), 4237 Raleigh St., Charlotte, NC 28213.

  • Winning bidders may take their artwork at the end of the event on November 15, or coordinate a pickup date by emailing kate@charlotteartleague.org.

  • Shipping is not available — all artwork must be picked up in person.

Payment

  • All transactions and receipts are processed through BiddingOwl. All sales are final.

Helpful Tips

  • Ensure your bidder profile has a current email and phone number for notifications.

  • Using Buy Now ends bidding for that item immediately.

  • Please plan for same-night pickup or schedule via email as noted above.
